Sway bar?

SAS pros, can I use one of these with my Calmini kit?

What length/options? The factory Calmini sway bar x-member is 30" and the tube diameter is ~1.5". Looking at the Calmini PICTURE (http://www.purenissan.com/sway_bar_system1.htm) I figure I will have to do some modifications to the mount such a making it longer but will that get in the way of anything? I know it would just be easier to get a Calmini one but I have found these for a bit cheaper and well, after seeing what Kev's did I just want to see if there is a different option.

If you go that route just get the universal kit. And replace the tube. 32-34" should be about perfect because the Calmini does have a bend to it.

I figured it would have to be a universal kit, I just didn't know what length and if the longer tube would get in the way.

They make either a 32" bar, or a 35.75" bar. Just by looking at the Calmini picture, it looks like the 32" would be to short because the arms look like they have about a 2" bend and the the links angle out. So it looks like you gain about 3" on both sides, 6" total. Sound right? Kev, would you be able to measure how much the bend in your arms add to the width, and the width of the sway bar mounting tabs on your axle? Also, what is the length of the away bar arms and, while your under there can you see if the longer bar would get in the way of anything, like turned tires or compressed suspension? Thanks man. :)

I will have a look. But my arms are bent to hell so I dont think I can really take a measure on em.

Cool thanks, I think that the measuring the sway bar mounts on the axle should work just fine.
