Hey everyone! I hope that there is someone that is here in Colorado springs with a lot of know how and mostly, tools. There are a few tools that I do not have that I need and I need someone's help for at least a few hours. I am going to be replacing my front brake pads and I need to completely remove my rotor so I can have one resurfaced.

So with that said, all that I definitely need are the tools for this for the day. What I need is:

a torque wrench that goes to 5 lbs.
a snap ring plier for the hub
and a special socket so that I can remove the retainer.

I know that this is a special tool and it has to be ordered but I was hoping that someone here might have the aforementioned tools to lend to me for the day. Any help would be much appreciated-James

I run a Big O Tire in castle pines I can machine yor rotors on your truck with an on car lathe. And put your pads on at the same time. I work this saturday. Just north of castle rock by a few miles.

Of course I have the tools. :) But I think James is trying to avoid the long drive up from the springs. I hope that's all it is and he hasn't got some silly idea about not imposing on me or anything. All I'm gonna be doing this weekend is tinkering with my truck on Saturday and probably wheeling on Sunday.

Green Machine, there is an on-car lathe? I have been quoted $16 if I take it off and I have been quoted $180 if they take it off. I am only short a socket and a torque right now. Give me a holler-James
