FYI - Maxxis Big Horn

So I got a set of Maxxis Bighorn tire thinking that I wanted a mudder with siping. I put them on in the Summer and by the first snow there is no more siping. I still have enough tread to last me through next Spring but DAMN these suckers wear quickly!

They also have a super soft sidewall...great for crawling and adding body roll. Totally noticable on high speed corners. I think I'll go with the Truxxus MT next time...those are even cheaper.

Just a warning for people looking for a siped mudder...skip these on a DD.

What do you think of the Maxxis creepy crawlers?

If I had a a dedicated crawler I would be all over any of the Maxxis tires. Flexxy Sidewall! The only Creepy Crawler I have got to take a look at was on a duallie Dodge with a 12" lift.

Who is sponsoring C-Dale these days? You could maybe call the inside rep at Maxxis and they can arrange a deal for you. My Maxxis Bike Rep just got a better than wholesale on a set direct from a local supplier. When I got BFG's for the race truck 33's MT KA's would cost me about $80.
