I've read about it several places and it always sounds like a blast. I guess I'm spoiled and kinda hypocritical when I say this because east coasters come out to Moab and Colorado for GONE, GOX/RONIN etc..., but: Damn that's a long way to drive! Is anyone thinking of going?

Only if you put big Cannondale stickers on the side of your rigs ;)

I'll go. When is it? I could use a stop off in Chicago though to see some friends. I have some family out that way too...I think.

It only took my family 27 hours to drive to Pittsburgh. ECXC isn't really all that much further.

Haveing 4 kids and being an underpaid Nurse I usually can only afford one big trip a year. With gas, any mods I would like to do prior to the trip and lodging (depending where I go), I was thinking I skip Gone next year and do RONIN or ECXC. WHo knows just have to play it by ear.

East coast wheeling is a lot different the west. I've only been to Moab once and loved it. I've been doing ECXC since the first one we had. It's a blast as well. The wheelin' is good but so is hanging out with everyone at the end of each day knocking back a few and BS'ing.
I'll pimp out my video one more time from ECXC this year. I haven't finished the full length version yet.:D

I know several of the guys I've talked to said that ECXC may be moved next year to a new location since they've been holding it at Rausch for the past few years. I know they had talked about having it at Coal Creek in Tennessee at one point last year and they are considering it again for next year.
I know I'd much prefer it in Tennessee. That would cut my drive down from 14 hours to 3 1/2.

Swampy has talked about doing two them, one down south and one still at RC. He lives in Georgia now.

I like that idea too because I know moving it to Tennessee would keep a lot of the NE guys from making it. I don't think having two ECXC's would hurt the turnout at RC either because it appears you guys have a really strong following up there. I'm working on getting a consistent group around here but it's a struggle. My last run I had included 5 xterras, 1 hardbody and an amigo (which surprised the hell out of me at how capable those things are).

I like the idea of 2 different runs. We will up there hanging out w/ ya where ever they have it.
