I dunno about a 92 pathy, but for my 99 frontier a new fuel pump is about $120 from nissan, and replacing it (which requires dropping the tank) takes less than an hour, so $480 is way too expensive for that job, IMO, unless it's much harder on your vehicle than on mine.

Is the access panel in the back of your Pathy blocked? You should have a panel under the carpet in the back of your rig, if my memory serves me right. Pull the carpet back a bit, getting to the panel, and then you can access it through the back of the truck, without pulling the tank. I don't have access to my manuals at this time, so I can't verify the panel.

Ryan, do you remember your back panel, before removing it?
