Does anyone know what the shock length is on a frontier with a 3" lift and rancho shocks? From the reading I've done, I think its 12" does that sound right?
Second question is what length do I need now after the SAS. Right now I have 2" blocks plus a 2" spring pack. I plan to go up another inch in the rear. Does anyone know what the model is on longer rancho's? I've been googling and can't find and rancho's that list as a 14" or 16" length. Oh yeah, I plan to use the stock shock frame mounts and not build a new xmember as originally planned.

You asking about shock travel or length? Because the shock length is two measurements, compressed and extended. To get the measurement you need, take your truck back to the junk yard, and max out the rear flex (without shocks attached) and take a measurement from shock mount to shock mount on the drooped side and then on the stuffed side. Your measurement on the stuffed side is the compressed length and the measurement on the drooped side is your extended measurement. Then call 4WP and ask for whatever shock you like in those measurements :D

The Rancho shocks for the lifted Xterra are
15" compressed, 23.75" extended, 8.75" travel model rs99116
for the lifted Frontier
14.25" compressed 22.125" extended, 7.875" travel model rs99118
rs99028 are
16.825" compressed, 28.125" extended, 11.250 travel
if you want to move your mounts there are
rs99036
21.125" compressed, 36.125" extended, 15" travel.
RS19034 w/ remote reservoir
20" compressed, 34" extended 14" travel
These are for the RS9000X shocks and all the numbers are from the Rancho dealers catalog.
edit: If you need more shock sizes let me know. All these shocks have the same mounts.

Didn't think about pulling them and measuring it that way.
