Who wants to stay where? Now is the time to book this stuff. Just wondering if folks had any new ideas or was slickrock good to go?
I am going to call slickrock on Monday to book.... unless someone else has any ideas.

Here is a linky to some of the sites with cabins etc... clicky (http://www.discovermoab.com/campgrounds_private.htm)
They all look the same only different?
Slickrock has been somewhat easy going... I don't remember them checking on us at all. I changed a front axle shaft in front of the campsite. But who knows, they may all be like that.

Canyonlands, Portal RV and slickrock are the only ones I have ever heard any one really talk about.

Do some places not allow vehicle repair?

Slickrock seemed fine to me. I only sleep there so major amenities aren't a big deal to me. The only problem with slickrock was all the kids at the playground but I was on the other side so they didn't bother me.

I stayed there a few years ago & the highway noise was non-stop. You got it from the main highway & the road to Potash.
Maybe the cabins are quiter.

Cabins definitly looks nicer than slick rock. Also on the river is cool. Plus you get a fridge.
It that the same highway slick rock is on?

Eirc P. (red X that ran into Kev) said that place was terrible. Since it is right on the edge of town, and next to the highway, he said it was very loud. He said the trucks with engine brakes were to worst .

Portal rv is right next to slickrock. Riverside is about a mile or so further out of town.

Well, I am going to call in the morning (Wednesday) to see who has what. They all look to be fairly similar with oasis having the edge with nicer cabins. They all are along the highway so who knows about noise....

Do the public sites on the river fill up pretty quick? They are on 128 but some are off the road a bit.
