i'm not all to sure, it would be nice to not drive more then an hour or so and i live in the Littleton area..my sidekick is not stock but its not some kind of monster so an easy trail would be good.

I am down. Lemme know where and when. Preferably a Saturday..during the day that doesn't go till 12midnight. Mine is still pretty stock beyond tires and rims. So preferably something easy or something with bypasses =P

Sorry I didn't get to your PM boot. I don't know of any trails that are close that are easy. I only know of a place I go 4wheeling right by my house. I posted it on here before but it seemed like everyone was afraid of getting shot at XD

My junker car died last week, so my truck is my daily driver again for a while. That means if I'm gonna go wheeling at all, it'll have to be (yuck!) easy trails, and there are certainly plenty of those still snow-free right now up the I-70 corridor. I should be able to lead a group of folks up there to show them some trails next weekend, as long as nothing major changes with my truck or schedule. I'm thinkin Ute Creek, Cascade Creek, Bill Moore Lake/Mill Creek, Yankee Hill, those kinds of things.

Cool. I don't care what time, I just need to know to inform possible passengers.

I might be up for hitting the trails, but probably want a bit more challenge than the trail by rampart range. The ones Damnhippie mentioned have a little bit more challenge (at least what I remember of Bill Moore Lake for instance). I don't know if any Fort Collins folks want to hit Kelly Flats or Crystal Mountain (if either are still open)

I'd be down for any trail at any time (preferrably morningish) on saturday. Just need directions.

I just had a look at my frankensprings and even with the replacement middle leaf from Ryan's parts truck in there, it still looks like it wants to break again any time, and it's now my daily driver, so I'd better not do any wheeling until I get real replacement springs installed. (Which sucks, because I've been wanting to wheel crystal for a couple years, just haven't gotten around to getting up north for a while.)

This Saturday works for me (I'm busy Sunday). I don't have a strong preference for Kelly Flats versus Crystal Mountain - anyone have a preference?

How does Crystal compair to Kelly Flats? I know I scraped some s#it up at Kelly...
Then again, I do have the lift now :)

I think Kelly Flats is considered a bit harder, but it has been a couple of years since I've done Crystal Mountain, and of course every trail varies year to year. I was able to get up Crystal Mountain in my 2000 Xterra with just a PML.

Hey so lets make a decision on where we're going and when since this is possibly tomorrow.
How does tomorrow (saturday) Crystal Mountain at 11am sound?

That works for me - where you thinking 11:00 at the trailhead, or 11:00 in Fort Collins? We could meet at 10:00 at JJ's lounge if you wanted to get to the trailhead about 11:00. JJ's is on the west side of town at Harmony Road and Taft Hill Road. If we pick that as a meet place I'll post better directions.
