Greetings,

No mods to the vehicle yet unless you count an aftermarket trailer hitch and nissan wire harness.
Some armor over the clutch lever will happen soon.

The X is primarily off road to go fishing, hunting and camping. It was getting hard to fit the family in the old extended cab pickup, 94 nissan 4x4, red with ugly rack for the canoe.

I have spent a lot of time driving flowers road, not a hard core trail but challenging in the snow.

This looked like an intersting website with some good local information I found from an Exterra only site.

Laporte? Home of Vern's cinammon rolls? Welcome! Turns out there are quite a few of us in the Fort. Old Flowers/Buckhorn is a nice Mountain bike loop. Like you say, not a big challenge 4-wheeling, but snow makes everything hard. Next summer we will have to hit Crystal Mountain that is in that same general area.

Beers at the Swing Station next spring after a run. Hell, I have beers at the swing station just about everynight.

The short bus will be back on Old Flowers road this weekend for an elk hunt. The only thing better than new car smell is old elk smell.

Thanks for the welcome.
