Yeah, and 20:1 gearing is just ridiculous! That buggy looks insane. What are those, like 50's? That's interesting how he still has the stock tie rod with the dual ram.?

Did what I could to flex it out, 54 inches under the tire seems about max but I will most liklely limit it to less than this. Having more than half the wheel base in flex seems a bad idea.

More bondo put down to change the rig alot. Bent up the frame of the CJ-5 in december and built a new jeep over the spring. Had it done in 3 months, not bad considering I started with a tub and frame again. Obviously some changes, messed with geometry a little, diff tires and went to air-shocks on the front. The biggest change was tubing the front and rear, got the ride height WAY lower. Its sweet now, but it seems now that it has so much power and traction that I am finding a new weak-link in the driveline every comp.
