Is there a difference between vg30e and the vg33e...I wondering if the emanage will work with the vg33e. It not listed in the manual... I know for sure the unichip works but I have experience with the emanage ultimate

I believe the VG30E is non OBD2 all cars went OBD2 in 96' Federal law was passed and all the companys had to comply you can tell be the 16pin data link connector on 96+ vehicles.
Is e-manage the AEM setup? I have two APEXi piggy back units and one for Honda Vtec cars. You should still be able to use a piggy back unit with OBD2 just keep in mind OBD2 cars are a little finiky and prone to throwing check engine lights for no reason. hope this helps a little.

What are you doing that you need to run eManage?

the vg30e was obd1/2, at least in 94 it was. nissan met the federal standards early, so it was kinda both.

I am planning on supercharging it....I have been researching this for the pass couple of months.

I have a 2002 pathfinder which is the equivalent of the 1999 American pathfinder...

Emanage is made by Greddy.. A Japanese performance company...

Its a very powerful and effective piggy back....In my opinion one of the best on the market... I made 247 wheel horse power from a 1500cc/90 cubic inch engine using this as the controller.

The z32 300zx and z33 are listed 89 to 02...The vg332 has 6 inner slots which i think are tdc markers and 360 outer holes..Its an optical setup.

If the z32 distributor is similar then the piggy back will work for the pathfinder

Are you sure that you've got the VG33E? In the US, 2000 was the last year the VG33 was in the Pathfinder. If you do have the VQ35DE like the 01+ Pathfinders, it seems like the eManage setup for the Z33 (350Z) would be the closest match since it's got the same engine with a few changes.

You sound like you know what you're doing and I don't mean to question you, just trying to clarify.

It is a japanese spec vehicle. When I started looking for a workshop manual I realised that the JDM spec vg33e was equivalent to the 1999 american spec.
