i got some flexy pics ill show in a bit. I ended up using a axle from a 82 cherokee chief. 6 inches wider than the waggy axles so i put the wheel spacers on the back instead.I LIKE THE WIDE STANCE. i little customization to make it fit but hey its sweet.

I've seen pictures of that Xterra from awhile back...didn't realize it was yours.
Looks even better now. :D What kind of shocks are those in the rear...Fox?

I'm just curious as to what you think of them. I'm considering going to a "real" shock here soon. I've considered going full coil-overs in the rear, but may just stick with a shock like yours for now. Are they noticeably better than the last shocks you had on there?
Thanks! :D

After the bugs are fixed? Come on man we need some trail action shots! Kevin was on the trail the day he finished his. Sure his steering came apart half way through the trail but he was still out there. :bannana:
Oh yeah........

LOL! Nice one Jay!
The only problem with wide on a SUV is the rear wheel wells. The wider the more ya have to cut or limit the wheel travel. When it comes to cutting, the rear doors are right in the way. (To bad Bushwacker doesn't make cut-out flares for our SUV's.)
The axle can be moved back for more room from the door, however we live in a short wheelbase Jeep world. The 107 inch WB is the one thing that tends to stop me on the Jeep lines (high center city). I have seen Kev stuff his rear wheels really nicely with the stock width in the rear. An extra inch on each side may not effect things all that much? Good thing Max is around to let us know!

well with the spring over on the rear it changes the arc of the axle so it swings in further. LOOKS GREAT MAX!!!
