The stock metal piece(s) of the front bumper.

Just until I get the new one fingered out.

I have one of the pieces laying around; the three-foot+ square section that bolts across the front.

If that helps, it's yours. Just have to get it to you from Cali. It's heavy-ish, but Greyhound has a shipping division that I've used for bigger items that's cheap and pretty quick.

I gave away the bar that goes between the frame horns but I have the upper bar that you are welcome to have.

I've got both the lower and upper at Ian's house if you want to borrow them.

Contact Ian about a time. I'm going to have no part of this (besides owning the parts).

Oh and I might have some body lift stuff bolted onto things in places and such.

Heh, it's starting to look like Tyler is coming over to un-lift his truck some time soon.

Since early spring is the heavy mod time around here, I've been keeping weekends open for this sort of thing. James is coming over to do the re-wiring project this Saturday. March 1-2 are booked. Other than that my garage is open.

Once the trails start melting out I hope to be spending more time wheeling than modding, so earlier is better for these things.

Cool, lessee...I'm out of town this weekend...next weekend some friends from Europe are in town...March 8 and 9 work for you, Ian?

Well....since SMR is from the Springs, and I am from the springs, and I am all about body lifts, I can come with him and when one lift is out, I could just start helping install the next. That would speed things up greatly.

Awesome!

Yeah March 8 or 9 works for me. I'm also free most weekday afternoons/evenings; I usually get home from work around 2. I dunno how long it'll take to un-lift an X, but I'm guessing not more than 2-3 hours.

That sounds like about the right time frame. I've got some other ideas I need bounce off your brain as well.

Since spelling/grammar nazism seems to be in style recently, I'll just take this opportunity to point out that the idiom is "for naught". (When my mother (who is English) says it, you can actually tell that "naught" is a different word than "not".)

Haha, I was just a grammar nazi in another post. I forgot which one though.

Wow! Mine looks like shit compared to that.

Huh. I didn't realize the xterra bumper wrapped around the corners like that under the plastic. The frontier one isn't that long at all, it extends only to about the middle of the headlights.

ChefTyler

Hmmmmm...all I need the bumper for is to be legal-ish to drive it home until I can get a replacement made...if it bolts up that's all that I really care about.

Ian, it actually wraps even further than you see on Jeff's pic.

Here is how far it really goes
