RONIN Wheelers is a Colorado Based Nissan Group that was founded by a few guys that had Nissans and belonged to other 4 wheel drive clubs. They got tired of the ridicule of driving a Pathfinder, Xterra, Hardbody, Frontier & the politics of it all. So enough was enough, and in October 2006 The RONIN Wheelers of Colorado was born.
We are here just to have fun out wheeling, camping, or other fun stuff we do. Of course to share stories of our past trips and areas we have explored. Lastly we are here to help each other out.
CLUB is a four letter word here. We are a bunch of friends. No President, no Vice President, no politics. We are here to have an absolutely great time. The whole principle behind this group is KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).
So if you have a Nissan 4x4 sign up. And if you are worried about your friend that has a Yota or Jeep may not be able to come along at some point. Well they are more than welcome to wheel along with us.
A RONIN (浪人,) was a masterless samurai (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samurai) during the feudal period of Japan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan). Since a ronin doesn't serve any lord, he is no longer a samurai. All RONINs were equals amongst thier ranks. Hence the basics of RONIN Wheelers, no ranks, no politics, no "Presidents or VP" just good times.
