My name is Daryl Alm. I reside in Erie. I have an '01 Xterra and a '97 TJ. These days I prefer the TJ simply because of the flex and lack of tipover feeling. That, and I get more places than the X.

I came here because I like the fact that there aren't any mandatory meetings and dues that seem to paid without purpose. I also enjoy smaller clubs. I hope this continues without the snootyness and eliteness shown on other sites.

Here are the X and TJ. The X has been stripped down to its grocery getter days due to lack of wheeling.

With all these new folks next summer should be a gas! I need to organize the camp gear :thumbsup:.

Hey Daryl, how's it been this last year? Bet you're not missing XOC at all these days! Kinda nice, huh? Do you still have sliders on the X? Hard to tell in the pic.

Not missing XOC at all. I don't think I have been there maybe three times to see how things were going. Funny how nothing changes. Yes, the sliders are really the only remaining things on the X. How's are things?

Nice tires too. My '01 TJ is stone stock. Still it did great in the 8" of snow Tuesday.

The TJ has stock axles, D30 & D35. I am not going to change them until the need arises, like something breaking. Until it breaks, I feel no need to swap them out. I don't plan on tackling Indy or Patriot, at least not yet. I love these Trxus MT's.

The X still has 32" BFG ATs. They look so tiny now.
