So I am making my reservation to ship my X to California and then from there driving to Moab. After Moab I will have nothing to do until the Mid of June when I have to report in for work. So if anyone wants to take some extra time off and go wheeling/camping in Moab or CO, or anywhere else for that matter let me know. :bannana:

Well I signed up to work with US forestry as a Wild land firefighter and I should hear back from them with an exact location sometime this week. But I am game for anywhere. I've got island fever in a bad way and it burns.

Im waiting on a call back. I work at the UH Manoa fire safety office as a fire inspector and some of our guys are fire science students so they had presentations in class and mentioned it to me, I went ahead and filled out an app. and sent it in last week. So I should know soon.

That's cool you're shipping it all the way out here. How much does it cost to ship from the island to California?

My guess is about $975.....If he is going to be stateside for some time, he is going to want his own vehicle as opposed to having to purchase one when he gets here, let alone the opportunity to enjoy a hobby he enjoys. Good on ya!!!!

There is a good bit of snow in much of Colorado this year, so June is probably going to have the higher elevations snowbound into July.

There will be areas in Colorado Open though.

You ought to see what the folks in Arizona have going on around that time.
