Alright, so I am about half way done with my stereo install. I have all the wires routed and I just have to spend a day connecting speakers.
The stereo that I bought is a Kenwood KVT 819DVD
The reason that I bought this stereo is because I want to get away with having the least amount of switches for the most accessories. That and I missed my DVD player when I put in the CB.
So, the selling point is that I could use the touchscreen to control 2 functions meaning that I could flip on any 2 accessories from the screen.
This stereo is a B*tch! More features than I have ever encountered. It actually has an external "brain" because of the number of features makes that a necessity.
On the back of the brain, there is a plug. This plug let's you control the 2 other functions. The wiring diagram simply says "to relay box" and there are tags on the wire that say "relay 1" and "relay 2" I am positive that I am going to have external relays for let's say...Roof lights but How do I connect it? Anyone have a clue? I am a few weeks out from actually doing this but some install help would be great.
