Shock from Distributor Cap?

Wasn't sure whether this is normal but when I was pushing down all the plug wires on the distributor cap to make sure they're down nice and hard, I got a nice little shock from one of them.

I thought they were all supposed to be grounded and couldn't go through the rubber... is that normal?

Yep, normal. Path of least resistance. Be happy you leaning up against your fender with your........ umm.........tool too close. Other areas are prone to be shocked as well. :D
