I just realized me and my buddies will be there a day earlier and will be leaving the 21st. I feel stupid . So how many of you guys can I expect to see over there? I'm stoked now that I know its being held the same time my group is going. :bannana:

Allen C. (cyclemutt) , Bill P. (broncob2b), Chris P (Blackout X), Eric P, Russ H. (bear), Scott A.,

Looks like 20 or so from Colorado... some of the names match with people on here but I have not met them yet.

For me...It all depends on if the new engine runs when I get it back in this weekend. I will not have much time to fix it if it doesn't.

How'd I miss Allen in my list? Hell I'm driving out with him, you would think I'd remember. :)

I don't have my CB anymore so I'll probably be reduced to those shitty little FRS radios. I'll let you guys know where me and the Yota's will be hiding the night before we leave.

I'll barely have the 40 hours of vacation time to get to go!

I'm driving out with Clayton, I'll have a passenger from Washington DC with me. I hope he has a jacket! :D

I think Colorado is the largest represented state in Moab this time of year. I think a bunch of Utah boys will be there too.

Starting the work again today on the ol' PhoeniX. Getting the parking brakes working, picking up the tubing for the sliders, fixing a shock hoop, installing straps. The list grows and shrinks!

Oh wait I know the answer, 42. :)

But of course.

That was my number when I played softball last year. Had nothing to do with Robinson.

Looks like a did it right because it started right up first try. After 60 miles I have a slightly rough idle but hopefully setting the timing with a timing light will solve it.

Now to find a place to stay...anyone have space?

I'd tried to swing it but there's just no way...you guys have fun and take TONS of pics! Planning to hit Moab in the next year or so, been stuck in this town with limited wheeling for WAY TOO LONG!

I can see it now...the mad pack of tortoises heading up to the Tunnel :D

The tortoise will be the back. Clayton and I will be racing! Gears and a S/C help a ton. Of course, I'm pushing a brick through the air. And Clayton has windows.

I'll be down there, but with my Landcruiser, as the family will be along...

If you see me, give me a wave:

Have to "fix" the knock sensor first. :)

Stupid question but usually don't you want the mouth of your snorkel facing forward to get air to the intake better?

If you're running in the desert or other dusty areas, having it face backwards reduces the amount of sand your airfilter has to get rid of.

I usually run it forward, but I was on a long trip with lots of off road/dirt roads.

I leave it backwards during the winter as well, to keep any snow/ice from building up and restricting airflow.

I will keep an eye out for it. You should stop by the Brewery Sunday night.
