Would anyone like to get together for a mod day? I personally would like to change my oil and drill/tap a line fom a coolant pressure gauge but don't exactly have all the tools since I am here for college. I know that Jeff has to change out his oil also. So anyone interested?

Possibly- I have three more nasty spark plugs to change out but need a compressor a couple extensions and an elbow.

We might be able to work something out after Halloween, if that works. If someone has a garage they would like to volunteer, then we can get the ball rolling. I don't have a garage any more, or I would volunteer myself. Hard to change oil in the middle of 13th Ave! :D

I'll offer up my garage- it can hold two and one parked in the alley so three really...I'll send the wife out shopping or something :) I'm in SE Aurora though off Parker and 225- might not be the best location for the Ft. Fun guys.

Lance said my rear shocks are in upside down- so uh yeah, that'd have to be changed :eek: :D

EDIT: And I have a fridge in the garage for that beer we need to have ;)

You've got a sweet Xterra. I've seen it around town quite a few times. Saw ya at Outpost Sunport the other day too. :D

I'd be down for a mod day too if anyone feels like helping me install front and rear lockers.

My wife grew up in Ft Collins.. so we get up there from time to time. Maybe we could meet up for a beer or even a run to Kelly Flats..

I would be game for running up to kelly flats again before the end of the season, the recent weather may have made it a little muddy/icy but i think it would be fun. I'm sure Jeff would want to go also

That would be fun. ;) I'm waiting on a few parts to get it back into good shape, but I should have them next week. If I could get a day of work we should figure something out.

I am in FT. Collins too so you guys let me know if you guys head up anywhere. Oh and I would like to participate in the mod day, not sure what all I can do except change my oil, diff adn t-case fluid. But I would still like to participate so I could maybe learn a few things.

Oh and depending on when and if we get together I will bring some of my home-brewed beer. It wont be ready till next weekend though.:D

Um...a mod day won't necessarily cover front or a rear locker. That's a bit much for a mod day.

But perhaps some shock R&R, coolant sensor install and the like. When's a good weekend for you Jay? That is, if everyone's cool with going down to Aurora for a mod day.

I would be fine with driving down to Aurora, as long as it was on the weekend. I have a bunch of friends that are going to school in Denver so it wouldnt be bad for me at all.

Cool. Throw out some dates beginng two weeks from now. Carpet's getting installed on Tuesday (postponed from Saturday) and once that's in, I can get everything out of the garage. :) I'm off every weekend so whatever you guys come up with, I'll accomodate!

how about the weekend of november 11? I cant make it the weekend of the 18th because i will be going home for that week for thanksgiving.

I would have a mod day at my place... but thinkin' the HOA is needing a break from my wrenching ways!
