I saw a green lifted X today at CMHS in south Colorado Springs. As I was checking out the welded on sliders and such, I noticed the Ronin sticker on the front quarter panel. A high school kid said the owners name was Sean (Shawn).

Anyone know who this is? I'm just suprised to see one in south CS.

A second gen X? If so, I know who it is! It's Stormy's X, her husband's name is Sean. Both Air Force. I don't know what they'd be doing at a high school though.

If it's a first gen, then I don't know, and now feel stupid. Thanks palermus!

Yes, but I think it's just wrong that a high school kid has a ride that nice.

Since I just moved here, maybe you know of some other really close places to wheel besides 379/mt Baldy?

:roflmao: You also pretty much just described Green Machine minus the busted front end and big dent in passenger rear bump.

How much lift you got on that beast SMR?

Hey Sean, are you missing a pair of pliers? After we swapped that lift from Tyler's rig to yours there was a pair in the garage that aren't mine. I asked Tyler when he was over last weekend and apparently they aren't his either.

James is an ass! :D luv ya bro!

Sean - glad you said you paid for it all unlike the other kids in the area. I was going to mention that area of town has a little bit of money. Good for you in taking care of your own business.

Glad to hear you paid for it, but just the fact that you obviously wheel it (body damage), makes you ok in my book. The spoiled kids would have just spent their saturday afternoons shining it.

I know James. When he gets his rig back together we should hit Eagle Rock or something.

He'll get it together someday, and I bet he'll love to wheel it as soon as it is.

Not to take away from the OP, but James has been rather successful lately in working on his rig. Many mods taking place on it all at once. Why get it running when there is a stack of parts going into it. He will have it running soon. Well, provided I don't ask for more help on mine, but I think I am done for a couple of months now.

You go wheelin' during school hours.....No one is going to pick you for that!

Haha, yeah.....I will get it running, I will put up my list of unpleasantries that I have had to deal with this month. Regardless, my plate is full, and

Shit happens all day, every day.

I wouldn't pick on someone with all "season floor mats" and "custom maglite holder"

 Other guys go to McDonalds are go home and sleep or play Xbox while I go get dirty. :D

The floormats were given to me for christmas because I was sick of trashing the shitty carpet one's it came with. The maglite holder is a flag pole clasp and an old leather bracelet I found with a thick worn metal band. Both are screwed into the passenger side of my plastic transmission cover.

I'm in the process of getting some more camo to incorporate in my interior and exterior. This bitch is meant for the outdoors and I want it to reflect the lifestyle I live.

I parted with my show winning Trans Am for this sucker which I bought and modified on my own with some outside help along the way. My parents bought the X for $21K, I gave them the keys to the T/A (worth a little over $19K) and paid the difference to them. The only way I can see myself as spoiled is the fact that my parents even bothered to put $5000 savings bonds in my bank account when I was the ripe age of 5. Since I was never old enough to touch the money, they just let it build up over time so that they were at the max amount by the time I was ready to buy my first car. Otherwise I've earned everything on my own.

Tone of voice doesn't come through well in print - I was just kidding midnight. I'm just jealous. My dad was a laborer in a cement plant in Florence. The best gift I ever got was the cancelling of a $200 debt I owed him when I graduated from HS. I was elated.

I am partial to ponchos. My first car was a 73 Formula 400 Firebird. It was 3 colors - if primer and bondo are colors. What was your TA?

You might want to expect it to get worse. Considering where you said you were going to college is going to expect a great deal more then your high school or 99.99% of the other colleges out there.

Bill

I can deal with it there because I'm gonna have more shit to worry about and almost nothing to plan for other than school. I had moab on the brain the entire 2 weeks before this week so it was hard to concentrate.
