I passed a sweet looking silver X heading towards the tunnel comming from the lake dillon and Silverthorne. It was an 2002 through 2004 model with what looked to be an AC suspension lift and maybe 33's or 32's. It was awesome lookin, had some 2 gauge pods in there, and a ton of power behind it!! just wondering what they did to their X to get that much power out of it?

IT wasn't me, but mine has 5.14 gears, S/C, exhaust and intake. Coming home from Moab I did the entire tunnel approach (except the last 100ft) in 5th gear and I have 35's.
If he was geared and only had 33's he would be able to haul ass.

Up some rocks, hells yeah i'll eat your IFS up and spit it out. On pavement I'll pass. Once I get a garage and build a nice little hot rod toy then I'll take you either place. :)

That was me!! We were heading back from fishing on the Blue River. It's got 33's, AC lift, and a supercharger. The supercharger is aftermarket (click the link in my sig for info). I'm getting tons of power out of it, and I'm tempted to get a smaller pulley. It's only running ~4 PSI right now. I do not have gears in it; so far I haven't needed them. I would definitely like them, but don't need them.

We will have to. I'm really just interested to see how this VH compares to a supercharged VG.

Dude, I'm guessing you'd smoke my ass! Mine is an auto. I did the hill in third gear the whole way at ~70MPH. If I got cut off then I had to drop to second and bring the speed back up. I couldn't accelerate in third.
That being said, mine has shitloads of torque. I'm at about 320 lb. ft. at 2500 RPM. That was measured on 31's though. I've got 33's now.
Speaking of racing though, I shamed a ricer yesterday  He was sittin' at the light revving his POS like he was the shit. I looked down at him with a smile and he nodded at me. So, of course, I stuck it in neutral and revved the fuck out of the X. His grin disappeared and he started focusing on the road like he was ready. Light turned green and off we went. I had him beat by the time we got through the intersection :roflmao:
Sucker..

The autos do really hurt power. I remember seeing a dyno chart of yours from a while back with tons of torque early on. Was it measured 320 lb-ft at the wheels?

I honestly don't know where that was measured. The dyno that was being used had some weird shit going on at the time. They had run past their support contract with the vendor and couldn't get help from them. I actually had to get the DB dumps and load them into MySQL then run some conversions and number crunching to get useful data. They didn't have the slightest clue on how to work with what they had. I talked them into giving me access to the data and I took it from there.
At some point I'm going to get it re-tuned and I'll get better numbers then.
