Not anything at all bad towards Mike it's just where I got them. :yellowsnow:
The Summit ATs just suck in the winter (if you're used to dedicated winter tires)...they've got good traction when it comes to slush and chunky snow, but anything below 30-40 degrees on a hard surface and you're slipping like crisco on a fat belly.
As with most all-seasons it may have that M&S logo on it, but they made compromises to get the "all season" part and that's usually in the tire rubber temperature compound area-they just get too damn cold and hard when the temp drops. Understand I've been spoiled with my cars having dedicated winter and summer sets and I believe the whole world should have dedicated summer and winter sets of tires.
IMO, they're a great casual wheeling/every-day, 3-season driving tire...which I'll probably sell in the spring to get bigger tires :D
And that's my half-assed, not feeling like working today tire review.

i will never not have two sets of tires again. being able to swap to snow tires and be sure footed driving in the winter, but still have good performance tires in the summer is great. I also have chains if it gets really bad, but I couldn't even get out of the driveway during the last storm so the chains wouldn't have helped.

If you would have paid with a credit card and not a check you rubber neck you could have disputed it.

So in a nutshell your review says:
1) You bought All-Season tires
2) You found out they weren't snow tires
Gotcha!

Man he deals all kinds of stuff out of the back of that store. I have picked up items off that loading dock myself.

:p I knew what I was buying...I was bored at work so I thought I'd give a review of it...maybe help someone out if Mike tries to swindle them a square but calls it a wheel ;)

Two sets are great untill you change them out and don't tighten the lugs down all the way. Next thing you know you are three wheeling through a construction zone. :D :duh:
