So everytime I fix something another part of the truck breaks. I picked up rear hatch struts today at lunch ,and pulled into the paking lot at work yanked up the e-brake lever and the shorty cable snaps at the lever.Anyone else run into this? I looked on Alldata it says $60.00 for the cable its between the lever and equilizer link. I will be calling tomarrow.first the motor then the right window regulator then the gauge cluster (had to solder in resistor) then the door locks Im starting to see a trend. LOL:(

what was wrong with your gauges? my roommates 88 is having problems, speedo never goes below 25 and the gas guage is always changing, not really accurate. wonder if it is the same problem you were having?

This will also fix the coolant gauge I know where to get the resistor. Radio shack cannot get it. You need to go to a computer parts store such as Eagle High tech in Longmont. This will not fix the speedo my trip counters are inop,
mine is the cluster your issue could be sending unit or the cable. Ryans got the idea Pull N Save. Or I will show you both a real junk yard, one people dont know about and strip the cars to the bones.
