Thanks guys. I Still need to upload the pix from this weekend. We had a great turnout. 11 rigs. 3 with crawler gears. 2 SAS Nissans and a crazy Xterra flopped recovery.

Glad to see someone else with a kid relaxed enough or bored enough to play games or watch movies on the trail. My son now 14 has frequently fallen asleep on the trail. He does not enjoy waking while hitting a major obstacle.
Nice to see some other person has made a road trip to Calmini. I visited in June of 2003 when we did a west coast loop. Pueblo, New Mexico, Las Vegas, Bakersfield, Yosemite, S.F. Bay. Nor Cal, Oregon, Olympic Pennisula, Back through eastern WA, then back to Colorado. Three weeks of seeing the country. Would not take the Xterra any longer, but it was a blast.

Yeah he had fun. But He threw up 30 minutes later. He had the stomach flu. He was sick every 20 minutes for the next 24 hrs.
He graduates Kindergarten May 24th. Right in the middle of GONE. So I need to be home for that.

My front locker pulls me up everything. I think its time for a rear locker. I already have a spare open carrier.;)
