Ok, so, Ian and I worked on my rig this weekend, but this didn't happen on the way home, or on the way TO work the next day. This started on the way home from work on Sunday. My oil light flickers on and off in my gauge cluster. But, it's not rhythmic and it happens randomly. It looks like it could be a short in the wire or something. I did notice it more while on the gas, but I have seen it happen off the gas. I have yet to notice it at idle. Any ideas????

Okay, let's start with a stupid question: Have you checked the oil?
Also, there's that question I asked on Saturday: "Hey, what's that wire dangling from the front of your engine?"
For everyone else: We installed hoohaa steering, lift control arms, replaced a cv shaft, and repacked the wheel bearings. Not much chance of any cause and effect between our work and the oil light, unless we bumped a wire.

I did check the oil ;). The level is fine and it is using the oil as it's not the cleanest, but it hasn't been 3000 miles yet.
That wire came from my starter area, so I dunno. I need to look it up in my book.

oil pressure sensor is right above the starter, if that wire came off it would cause the light, and would hang right by the starter.

So maybe the wire is hitting metal and causing it to freak out like it has been?
