Well I think the fan clutch in my 03 Xterra is going out because of the massive amounts of noise it is making and the play it has in the shaft. The xterra only has 40,000 miles on it. Do fan clutches just go out periodically or could I have cause this at one time or another? Anyone one else had problems with fan clutch. 2 weeks ago I did do some mudding with the xterra.
