i was screwin around on the internet....was seeing some of the receiver hitches for the d ring setup. they are sittin at like 30 bux or so after shipping (if this doesn't work i'll just buy one...but i always like to see what i can make)...some more, some less....i've mostly been into fabrication for my car, custom control arms and the likes....but i thought i'd give it a shot...gonna go test it out tomorrow and see how it holds up...i don't see any reason it shouldn't.

it's some 2" square tubing i had left over from sliders i made for the xterra, plus some 3/16" plate i have layin around. took a sqaure piece of the 3/16 cut out the 2" box for the square tubing, notched the square tube and welded it up, braced on both sides symmetrical to what you see, then drilled a hole, inserted a piece of 1" pipe and welded it up....we'll see how she does tomorrow...gonna play around and see how it does...if it doesn't do well then oh well...it was about 45 mins of fun and just wasted scrap in the garage.nm the selena cd in the background...it's my gf :)
