not much of a thread but i thought would share,
88 pathy cb install,i got a cobra 21,i wanted to put it
under the front console but,it stuck out too far.
The shifter would hit it,so i cut out a part of the
plastic panel behind it(it holds the pre amp for the
stock radio which i no longer have,so its a hollow space)
I screwed the mounting plate to the underside of the
radio box and,i also installed a remote speaker to the left
of the cb (in front of the optional power outlet)
I mounted the antenna on the swing away,i used 18 ft
of coax (which was JUST enough),i routed the coax
under the truck on the right side of the frame.
It was a couple hour project just thought i would
share :D
