Does this belong to anyone on this board? I've never seen it in town, but had a friend who told me about seeing it down at City Park awhile back. I just talked to another guy on CO4x4 who apparently set up the gears and was telling me all about it.

Ryan thought it might be you. Did you have a guy named Zach with a huge Cherokee from CO4x4 set your gears up? I'm thinking on having him do some for me.

Did you take a picture of your final gear pattern?

Nope, Allen does all my gear work. He sets up gears everyday, day in and out, not as some hobby on the side. The diffs are something that I don't mess with.

Looks like I'll be giving Zach a call. If only Allen was a little closer I'd be using him.

it's not that it's difficult, it's that if you are wrong at all, you can torch your gears. Not worth it for me, i'd rather pay for piece of mind.

I wouldn't be too worried doing it myself with stock gears since another set of 4.6's can be had pretty cheap. If I just spent $500 on some Nismo gears I'd be a little more cautious.
It just works better for me to pay someone since I don't have the necessary tools to do it like a backlash gauge or press. Much cheaper to pay someone that buy all the tools for one time use.

Tyler, if you want to meet halfway between here and Ft. Fun with a spare 3rd member, I'll take it down to Al for ya :D and bring it back up when he's done with it :D

Al is located at I-70 and Havana...well that's where 4wp is. He lives downtown, nice place too. You'd have to figure out price with him and then we'll figure out what day works best for us to meet up. You are talking about the rear, right? :D

This is for the front. :( That's why it would be great if I could pick it up the same day I drop it off. Or I could just drive without a front differential....
