R50 clock issue

Hey, the clock by the vents on my friend's r50 went out last year. Long story short, I want to get it fixed before she gets back from being in MN for a couple weeks. Is this a common problem with r50's? I can't find any fuses that are shot so I am wondering if it is internal. Any help would be appreciated, I am not going to buy a new one but if I can fix it I will.

I can look at the electronics of the clock when I'm over there if you have it taken out...that's about all the advice I could offer. Do you have a multimeter?

Its actually a totally different type of deal
