GQ Nissan Patrol [Archive]

Hi all. I found this site while searching for a lsd for the front of my truck. She's a 1998 Gq patrol with a 5 link front end with 7" coils and adjustable rancho's the rear has SPOA bogie leaf. Im running 35" tyres on road and 37" baja claws off road. It is a 4.2 turboed diesel with intercooler. unfourtunatelly we don't get away with modds over here (australia) like you fellas do over there but ill post a couple of pics

We have to mod ours because Nissan doesn't think we need trucks like yours. Nice Ride!!!

here is a list of some of the mods on my truck

some modds include..
1. calbah weld in 5 link front end and 7"coils
2. SPOA rear with bogie leaf
3. wagon diffs front and rear with vaccum locker in the rear
4. new adjustable ranchos in the front and 5012's in the rear
5. tube bull bar and warn 9000lb winch
6. custom tray with space case and ground anchor
7. water cooled turbo with top mount intercooler.
8. 3" dump pipe and 3" mandrel bent stainless exhaust
9. gu power steering box
10. tripple battery's
11. Air compressor
12. pyro and boost guages
13. MP3 player with subby and power amp
14. uhf
15. return to centre steering dampners
16. New 35x12.5x15 a/t's for road use and 37" Baja claws on locked rims for off road
17. 4.6 diff gears
18. K&N air filter
19. Safari snorkle
20. air tank
21. slider/side steps
22. dash mat
23. tinted windows

What's a 'Bogie Leaf'? Is it just a leaf missing?a bogie leaf is an extra leaf running along the chassis attached to the hanger\shackle which allows the hanger to move away from the chassis giving way more down travell. Ill flex her up and take a pic for you. some people also call it a 1/4 or 3/4 eliptical set up.

Coool really sweet setup... and a pic of the "bogie" would be cool just to see the setup and how the patrol is setup in the rear too.

I dont know too much about prices, but people that has patrols 2 doors, or have it on real good condition and if they sell it, they will ask around to $4000 to $6000.
I am talking about the gray and black that is newer than the bronze with white roof, that one is older and they go about $3000 but is very hard to find them in good condition.

The green one 4 doors you can find a lot of that ones in good condition.
