Well, I finally got tired of smashing my steps on rocks and I enjoy being able to open the door. So I had Shane at Concept Customs fab some sliders. Specs are 2x3 box 1.75x2 supports on .25 plate. 10.9 bolts to hold it on.

The red dust is from the shop rag used to prevent scratching the paint when we jacked the drivers side up on the slider. The top holes are for dropping the body down if I SAS and ditch the BL. The bottom of the plates and gusset would then be cut off.

Just added some grip tape that JeffW gave me. Thanks man! It looks good and works as a step. If it doesn't stay I'll Herc it or something.

Anyone else coming to Illinois Gulch saturday?

Very nice! Definitely a step in a better direction in comparison to those step bars :D

Those are awesome. I like the paint, too. The best part is the grip tape! :thebirdman: :JR: :doublefinger:

FYI, the tape wasn't really "free". I need some work done!...

I wouldn't charge you to flick those out with my finger.

Unfortunately, I had patients that looked like that in KY. Some time I'll put up a pic of a set of dentures that a lady did not remove for 6 YEARS! Good thing I have a poor sense of smell.

Didja scrape 'em on the trail? How's the tape holdin' up?

I love the feature that sllows you to move them down if you take off the BL. Very smart.

I think they are pretty sweet too.. Ron, lets go see how they work on China wall, or even Jaws down at the dunes!!! I think I have my Blazer ready for the trip.
