Been finishing up the plumbing and wiring for the ARB compressor before the truck goes into the shop for the locker install.

For the first couple years of the 2nd gen X's, Nissan gave non Off-Road model owners a transfer case switch plate with a stupid little cubby hole that I swear is only big enough for a pack of cigs (and I don't smoke). I ordered up the Off-Road model faceplate that has some switch holes. Only problem is Nissan buried this thing so deep I had to take apart half the dash to get to it.

Anyways... got 'er done. Here's the BEFORE shot:

I got the other 2 rocker switches from OTRATTW.COM. They sell Contura brand rockers, which appears to be the same company that makes the ARB switches. They've got a good selection with a lot of pre-labeled switches. Probably old news on this board, but I thought it was cool. And for you 2nd gen guys, they fit PERFECTLY in those switch holes.

Looks awesome!

EDIT:

What made you go for the rear ARB over the E-locker?

It seems like 99.9% of the Titan/Xterra/Fronty M226 axle failures have been axles with that e-locker. I don't know know if the exact problem has been pin-pointed, but it seems like a design failure of some sort. I thought the ARB seemed like a tried and true way to go.

I like mine. Still need one for the rear.

looks good dude...I like the switches!!! :)
I have mine in my '01 all done just waiting to take my X to my buddies shop to get the locker installed.

I had my 2 ARB switches where the rear wiper switch used to be.
