Weekend help.

Considering doing my PML this weekend. Questions though.

#1- who wants to help?
#2- on average....what's an alignment cost?
#3- where is my best place to go for an alignment?

Front alignment will cost about 60 bux at your local alignment shop.

Be sure to adjust the T-bars while elevated (count rotations). Drive around the block a couple of times (figure 8's preferred) and then measure. Repeat until you've got the desired height. Do you have the shackles yet? Those are quick and easy.

I can help in the Springs, but the 4-hour round trip won't be with the hour of help. Maybe we can schedule this prior to a trail run some weekend?

gonna order them tonight if i can find some help. i have a place to do it.....but all my tools are still back home.

i kinda want to do it this weekend- and also do a trail run this weekend too. get it all squared away for when the fam comes to visit next weekend.

speaking of. easter egg run. someone should hide a bunch of platic easter eggs filled with candy....and a group of us will go out on a trail run to find them.

but i digress. wanna lift this weekend if possible

if you can find someone w/ tools and a LEVEL garage, it'll take you less than a 12 pack with two of you to get it done.

If you havent ordered the shackles yet it will take a while for them to come in. Mine took about 2 weeks from AC because they are made to order. Personally I would buy AC(4x4parts.com) or the ones from Whiterockfab on Clubxterra.org(go to the classifieds section and look for "shackles for sale). They are custom made and a hell of a lot beefier than those two little pieces of metal from Calmini. I am not saying that Calmini will not hold up I am just recommending you buy the strongest shackles possible.

Also the Whiterockfab shackles are only $43, that is $22 less than anything on the market.

I had custom shackles (flat metal) and prefer the Calmini or AC ones. The bends in the metal give a tight fit.

Regardless of what you order, there is virtually no chance you'll have them by this weekend. Get 'em ordered, and, once you have 'em, schedule a time to do the PML.

Supposed to snow and be windy on Saturday, but who knows if that will happen. I swear every time I work on my truck it snows anyway so we're cursed. I don't have a whole ton to do really - the hardest thing will be getting a bolt out that's fubared.

definately not making it down today. been shoveling for 3 hours and have barely made a dent in this massive driveway. about 8 inches here so far and still snowing like crazy. i'll post updates i suppose. but like i said. they'll probably close the pass today if not tonight. i'd be stuck down hill

I won't be able to get together this weekend for any help as I am taking care of my wife even though the weather tomorrow is going to be better....

Had some unfortunate luck today with the X...the X saved my wife but the X is totaled :-( Meet her at the hospital and she was released with a bump on hear head and that's it :-) so all is good....

I still have the shackles but will begin searching for another 4x4 or the Bronco will undergo the frame-off much sooner than expected...
