I have finally stopped traveling so doggone much and I am no longer in the Army Reserves. I have basic tools, air, jack, stands and would be willing to host a mod day sometime. Anybody need any work done before wheelin' season?

Alex - I'm no mechanical genious but I do have a jack, jack stands, and a garage with 8' tall doors, so if you ever want to do something just give a yell. I'm in S.E. Fort Collins.

We can get together pretty much any weekend starting in March. We just need to figure out if anybody in SoCO needs some work done.
I live in North-central Co Springs; I'll post directions if we have enuff interest in a mod day.
Where's Steel_City, Gallagher and Sallie?

Steel city is Todd isn't it? I believe he lives down in Pueblo. Matt lives on the North end of town and I'm not sure where Sean lives.

I've been looking at relocating my lights down into the front bumper. I'm also looking at getting some revolver shackles and a IA brace.
JeffW

You drive here from Alamosa and you can have the IA brace for free!

Hey, I am alive- sort of. Pueblo is doing a real good job of pissing me off. And, I work for the f'king city government.
I also have an IAB sitting in my garage - with a centerlink if I remember. Sitting for the last couple years.
I need to do a few things - the biggest is to install a new Motor Mount and I want to install my TJM and put a leaf or two back in my spring pack. The truck is taking on the 'bulldog' look again. Just not enough money right now to replace it. Someday I've got to buy and install a 2" BL.
Busy the last few days, so I have been absent. Damn graduate school is kicking my butt. Not sure when I am going to be free, but I'll need to do a few things.

Cool, glad you're still around. It sounds like people have some work to be done, so that's good.
Let's talk about dates....
March: 3,4,10,11,17,18
What works?
Git-R-dun!
I just bought a Snorkel and a winch for the ARB. I'm down for a mod day. 17th works for me. Parents are coming intown on 3/24.

Crapnuts, the 17th won't work for me, I am skiing in Vail that weekend :(
JeffW
02-28-2007, 02:46 PM
What about 3/10-11?
Will that work better?
I think most weekends will work for me as long as we plan it in advance.

I am in class that weekend. But then again, I am either in class of trying to get prepared for class on weekends..................
Choose a date based on others. I'll see if I can get there.
Todd
Well some things came up and I'm out for Mod day. My truck is going in for maintenance on 3/17. Allen's gonna work his magic and replace my belts, hoses, alternator (mean green baby), water pump and such. I will be available in April though. I ended up putting in the winch yesterday, so all that's left is the snork.

Ok, I decided not to buy those cheap arse pilot off-road lights as I heard all bad things about them. So I do not think I can make it this weekend. My plan is to go ahead and buy some quality ones off like ebay or something( hopefully some KC's). Then hopefully there will be a mod day closer to me sometime soon. I am hoping you are still willing to help me out Allen. As I have come to the realization that if I do this myself I am gong to either screw something up or it is going to take me forever because I am a electric tard. Maybe by then I will want to do another mod too. I will provide plenty of :beermug: . As of right now I am a novice "kit" brewer with Mr. Beer. But I only have one mix left and then I am moving to 5-gallon full boils. My first batch should be coming up by the end of the month. I have bought a huge Stainless kettle and burner and just yesterday I made my own wort chiller!! I already have almost all the other equipment, I am quite excited. My first batch is going to be a nut brown ale hopefully similar to New Castle!! :bannana: :bannana: :bannana:

Sounds like some good stuff. Yeah, I'll be willing to help you out whenever you're ready. Just stop by Radio Shack and pick up one of these for a pair of lights or 2 of them for 2 pair of lights.

OK! It is time to get this heap in order for wheelin' season! I have a small bumper mod and an ARB pump to install. I will be workin' on my truck next weekend (3/31-4/1). Show up if ya like. I have basic hand tools and air tools with metric drivers. There is beer in the fridge but it wouldn't hurt to bring some extra in case I run out:beermug:.

that remnds me.. One of these days I need to brew some more.. I bought ingredients (malt, grain, yeast, hops and such) over a year ago.. Procrastination sucks.
Like I posted on someone or other's moving thread, I'm most likely replacing a clutch this weekend, but other than that, I'm generally off thurs-sat and every other wednesday... I severely doubt we'd ever start doing mods on my truck (kid #2 on the way) unless it's "Hey, I've got some scrap steel, let's fudge up a bumper!" :roflmao:

Hey eveyone I am definitely down for some modding too. I have an X and I am by the Citadel mall. I don't really have too much to d. I have my shrockworks bumper coming in and I have to install that, some lighting and a skid plate, so I would be willing to help anyone else if they need anything. i have a few tools and I am becoming more and more mechanically inclined and would love to learn more and more about it and would love to meet some fellow off roaders. Let me also know when a day is established. I have class mon-turs and I am free on Fri-Sun wor permitting. Thanks a lot!-James

This weekend and the next two are out for me, but I would like to do something after that.
If you need to paint your bumper, I still have a wooden fixture that I used to paint mine.
