Ever since the engine swap on my X, I've been fighting this code. It's the MAP/BARO sensor. Neither of them were changed when I did the engine swap. Anyone know if that code would also account for the horrible milege I'm getting now?

I put an 04 engine in my 00 Xterra. Is it possible my old ECU is not reading the right sginal from the 04 engine? I hate to buy new sensores and and such and have it not fix the problem. I don't see how they would be bad now after the swap when they were okay before.

I also bought a junkyard MAF sensor out of an 00 Xterra because I broke mine taking it out.

when you swapped did you put the original sensors back in or did you run the sensors from the donor motor? not sure it matters, but if you have the 04 sensors in it might make sense to try the 00 sensors. dunno, just a thought.

Or to find an ECU out of an 04?

Also what I found was MAP/BARO Switch SOL/V for that code - SOL mean Solenoid? If there is one for that? Dunno.

The MAP sensor and solenoid are not part of the engine. They are mounted right by the air box. That's what is weird. I never changed them with the new engine. I never even touched them during the swap. Just unplugged the vacuum hoses from the engine.

I'm not sure an 04 ECU will hook up to my 00 wiring harness. If so, maybe thats what I need to do.

It's driving me crazy, I need to get it fixed soon.:errr:
