OK here are some great books for the trails in both Colorado & Moab.
These books have really good maps and GPS coordinates.
Now the main problem I have always had is the spine ripping out. Funtreks has an OPTION for 3 bux to get the book spiral bound!!! I have ripped up enough books that this is an great option!

I agree those books rock he spent alot of time working on them and it shows. Some trails are missing but whatever there are plenty of trails described in full detail.

Those books are very detailed I have them all they usually have them at the automotive section at Borders. I like how the books give you detailed mileage logs (how far and when to turn) They also do a good job telling you where to camp and keep you from getting a salt rifle up your ass by a pissed off farmer because you made a wrong turn.lol :D

It's when you reload a shotgun cartridge with rock salt so you can shoot at dogs/trespassers without killing them. You just send them home whimpering and crying.
We used to just unload the cartidge so when we shot it it just shot plastic and did no harm.
edit.
The local dogs would come around and try to fight our dogs so we had to do something. I'm not a complete redneck. I don't walk outside with a shotgun everytime someone drives up the driveway.:beermug:

The Wells books definitely rock, once you figure out he's a total pantywaist and anything he rates as extrememly hardcore is quite likely to be an easy drive for a rig with even the slightest mods.
