I recently drove out to lovely Colorado to drop off my truck at All Phase for some custom work. I'm coming back out on March 5th to pick it up. I'll be at the shop sometime in the mid afternoon. Swing by if you're free to see the finished product. I'd be happy to meet y'all.

Here's the thread from our web site that explains what's being done to my 2005 Xterra:

Hell, I'll just pop up there randomly this week and look at it in process :D

I dig that you drove cross country to get some work done, dedication to modification in my book!

Only two things I would do differently would be selectable lockers (at least in the front) because those SSRs are going to get EATEN up by the Detroits...unless this isn't your DD, in which case, good choice :D

All you bastards that live close to All Phase...

Then again, I live pretty close when you compare it Virginia. :D
That's a long way to drive for a competent shop! Can't wait to see it.

Thanks! I'm a motorcycle nut at heart. My bikes are my daily drivers unless weather doesn't cooperate. Still, I don't mind getting wet. I bought my parents 1993 Plymouth Acclaim (groan) to run errands and go to work and such. It's a good solid car. I know because I did most of the scheduled maintenance on it. Not bad for $500.

The X will pretty much be a trail rig. Perhaps an occasional jaunt into town for a warm summer's night stroll by the ice cream parlor or a cold beer. The latter will be a good reason to let the wife drive it. :beermug:

It's gonna be nice, he's got a yota box tapped for hydro assist..

Actually, it's a PSC steering box with the hydraulic assist. Aside from the axles, this is the highlight of the build.

oh oops Sweet rig your gonna love it.. and I bet you will soon find the trails in virginia boaring. Which is no insult to the trails, I know what they are like. It is a compliment to the machine you will soon own. Are you going to make it to GoneMoab?

I'll try to make it this year. Although, that's a pretty long drive in a truck like mine. We'll see. I've got a pretty busy schedule planned for the East Coast. The Appalachian Mountains will keep me busy for a while.

MOAB would be nice but actually, I'd like to get up in the mountains of Colorado.
