fort collins 4x4 it is a bad 4x4 shop but they do have a ramp in the back. I think it's only a 20 degree ramp. Don't forget to tell them before you ramp your truck... Someone from inside must come out and supervise

You need supervision huh? I need to go play around on it after hours.

What bad experience did you have with them? I called to get a few replacement WARN parts today and the guys were great.

They put my 3" lift on a while ago it took em three weeks and 2,000 bucks worth of labor. It pissed me off cause i could have done it with one helper in a day. I'm not a bitter person but i hate it when i get ripped off. I also feel they overcharge for parts so i just drive the half hour to Allphase. And yes you can ramp it after hours and when they are closed on the weekends.

Wow Allphase is only a half hour away huh....maybe I should consider having them do my bumper. And $2000 for a 3" lift install!!

Fort collins 4x4 has ripped off alot of people in ft collins. If you drive by you will probably see that they now work on cars as well as trucks. A 4x4 shop shouldn't have to advertise car work on thier bilboard. Allphase is close enough if you take shields then 287 you'll be there in 30 to 40 min... Although i have never known anybody to use MTO they seem kinda new. X-tream or however it's spelled do nice work but they only like jeeps and are kind of cocky. But as always just my opinion and I could be always be wrong...

the guys at mto are cool if you go there on the weekend the guys that are there during the week i didnt care for. i had the same expeirence with fort collins 4x4 they really just seemed like a yuppy 4x4 shop adn they really didnt know to mutch when i was talking to them

It will be interesting to see what Nick at Xtreme Engineering is like. Everyone has said the guy does awesome work and is super friendly but then again...those guys are all jeepers! I'll be going out to his shop tomorrow. I'll report back on whether they're willing to work on a Nissan. :D

A friend of mine got ripped off big time by the owner of MTO, but I think that may have been more of a personal deal.

I didnt really have time because the guy had to watch us... plus I knew the ifs sucked going forward so I kinda wanted to see how the back flexed

Makes sense. I totally understand that the back flexes better and looks much cooler when actually flexed fully.

I can probably go back one of these day to get a front flex shot, I would have but like I said the guy had to wait for us so I didnt want to keep him

Hey Jeff, good to see a hoopless Shrock with biga$$ lights on it...now I know what mine will look like! :D

GarrettE

haha...thanks Alex!

Jeff, how come you went with hoopless? Is it cause your lights wouldn't have fit on the bumper had you gotten hoops?!

Haha well, no offense to the people with hoops, but they don't go with the lines of the front end at all, and definately not so much with the 00-01 models with the squared up front end! So I went without the hoops with the idea that I might weld my own on there or something like that down the road that 'fit' better in my opinion.

Here is a good calculator i'm pretty sure the one at fort collins 4x4 is a 20 degree ramp.
