I am just trying to get some info out there about a new product I have. I just recieved my first shipment of ARB Solenoid manifolds. I have personally had them manufactured specifically for the ARB Solenoid BSPT threads, which many of you probably already know, the solenoid is made to work only with the ARB compressors.
So far myself and Slee are the only people I have found to offer this solution for those who like to use the Viairs, yorks, and Powertanks. Check theses out on my site, also available on ebay (but I really don't like the ebay thing - my rating there is perfect, but EBAY is getting out of line for seller fees and driving up the prices) For more information, feel free to contact me, or just visit my website at www.concept-customs.com I realize I am still new to your group, again, please forgive me if I'm too forward, and I don't mean to step on anyones toes here. I would just like to say, that I am available any time for just chat not just as another vendor, I'm ready to do a bit of wheeling too.
As always, I will freely offer my professional advice (we can call it opinion if that makes anyone feel better ) I also have a fabrication business that I have recently started up to provide custom bumpers, roll cages, SAS setups, and whatever else a guy might like.. you get the idea. Feel free to check me out by visiting my other friends at Clubxterra.org, Ih8mud.com, or even coloradok5.com, and pirate4x4.com. Please if you have any feedback, contact me.

What Arb threads are giving you trouble? I've run an arb compressor, viair and am now running a York with no issues. Is it just with the older solenoids because mine screwed righ into the 4 way I bought at harbor fright?

I have brand new ARB Soleniods. They always have been, and always will be 1/8" BSP threads on both sides. A guy can certainly use a wad of T-Tape, and crank them down into a 1/8" NPT, maybe it works sometimes, but that really never mean's it's right, and many times they do still leak, ARB won't honor a warranty when installed incorrectly. So instead of everyone going through this headache, buying a boatload of fittings, and piecing some brass POS together, I had a clean simple manifold made, they are designed to work with the ARB OEM product, they look tight, have mounting options, and look very clean... professional even...

Hmm bazarre I have new ones as well and they haven't leaked for the past three years! I've never noticed any thread distortion. They just screwed right into 1/8. Maybe arb sent me 1/8 solenoids I've got three extra I'll see if they are any different.

Ok, If its really that bizarre... here is the link for ARB solenoids.. You have never been sent anything from ARB that is different than the BSP Soleniods!

Notice item #8 1/8" - 1/8" BSPT Not NPT.
That stands for British Standard Pipe Thread. Call ARB if you like. I don't just blindly post because it feels good, and I certainly didn't invest in a product that I haven't researched.. And actually other people do have problems with these.
Thanks for the Hijack CurleyMan.

I got your pm... I checked out the threads last night. Your right it's different for sure. It's quite possible that mine works only because harbor freight used really soft brass. Sorry about the confusion I really had no idea.

I just want to run out and buy some of your products now.

I do have to say, versus buying race adapters that go from 1/8" BSPT to 1/8" NPT is more expensive at $25 a piece (Here (http://www.z10eng.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=40), per solenoid) than buying the manifold and going that route.
If you're planning on using another compressor for air duties, it would seem the good way to go if you've already got ARB's. Especially for something like a York. The manifold that you have to build can take the better part of an afternoon and leaks are always a concern, as well as the strength of the materials used in making the manifold.
This manifold seems solid, straight, is easy on the eyes and the pocketbook.

You are very right. I was short. This has been a response I tend to get everywhere, and it is extremely frustrating when a guy will spend the time and money to correctly develop something, and then get feedback like that. My goal with the original post was to simply let everyone know about something new and cool to make our lives easier, and our wheeling habits a bit less expensive, the last thing I want to do anywhere is just start an arguement :)
As a matter of respect, I like to make sure I have done my research before I just jump on someones ideas or designs. I kind of expect the same. You probably would also, right?
It is very easy for someone who is new to things like this to get very confused with all the contradicatory infomation that can get posted, so where I can provide the original inforamtion, I like to.
