I got tired of of the Pathy so I tossed the old body and swapped it for a Hardbody Cab.

Sweet! I've thought about doing that with an excab or finding an '87 Pathy E to throw my cab on.

I really like that front fender trimming too

What's your frame height?

you turned it into a 3 link?....interesting....no bind?....wow!

theking
09-08-2009, 08:37 PM
Yup. Only way to go! I moved the one cross member forward to make the upper link a little longer and moved the lower link mounts forward too. I used the 3 link calculator and got some good Anti squat and instant center numbers. Seems to work great. lower links are 29.5", upper is 20" with the axle side 11.5" above the axle centerline. panhard is 9" above the centerline on the axle.

I really think out boarding the springs to under the frame rails is the way to go for a DD. It corners awesome without swaybars. Handles everything great.

Sometimes i wish it sat a little higher. lol

Definitely appreciate the honesty, guys. I thought they would get mixed reviews. Part of me likes them, but maybe they're a little over the top. I would drop them if I had to daily drive the thing. But, it's just fun.

Bad ass new rig.... Great work as always. I'd keep the skinny stacks I think they fit. I'll probably end up with a uni stack on my junk sometime soon. So if your ever by a scale and decide to weigh the new rig please let me know.
