overall design is done...gonna do a little something in the middle of the stinger...haven't decided what yet. still have bracing to do and a little welding. it's pretty darn symetrical and that was the hardest part...i think i like it.

That looks awesome!
If you were to make a skid plate that goes halfway up the stinger and put some 2-3 inch holes it would really finish it off.

I like what you have come up with so far on your own! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to pretty much copy a lot of what you've done on mine. Love the Stinger shape! I'm probably going to loose the frame horns though, and make the lower portions with flanges for unbolting. Now I see why you went with welding to the front crossmember that's bolted on. If you angle some tubing backwards from that crossmember, and bolt the member to the angles pieces that you weld in, that would increase the strength of that unit a ton! And, it would make it still removable.

Nice work, 110v flux welder?

thanks all....i'll take a couple more pics later....it's about finished...just need to get paint on it.

feel free to copy whatever you want...it was done up with a millermatic 135 mig....i bought it a while back because it runs off 110 and is much more portable....it handled that tubing fine...i bevelled the edges on the tube, turned the heat up and got great penetration.....the tube is .120 wall.

this bumper i can unbolt easily in just a few minutes...this is the rear brace...this bumper isn't going anywhere...add a couple gussets and it's there to stay...there is no flex at all in this bumper...let me know if you guys have any more ideas for extra support that wouldn't block a place for a winch in the near future.

the tube i basically knotched for the pipe around the bolt...i also cut the back side flat and welded the pipe all the way aroundto the 3/8" plate that i used for the bracket...it's pretty sturdy

Wow! Bumper looks awesome! Props to your creative skills! I might try and replicate something similar. You should give your bumper name :P
