Thanks Guys!!!
I have a question, On the way over here from st. louis I was getting roughly 5 MPG Highway!! I know its a big rig but i had an equally built fj40 with a 383 stroker and 38" that didnt get near as bad MPG as this. Is there somthing wrong and or something i can do about it?

Hmmmm
Knock Sensor ....
Timing...
what gears are in the Diffs?
Did you calculate based off the odometer or did you recalculate for the tire size difference?

You drove that thing back!? I just assumed it was trailered.
Those boggers are probably bald by now. :D What size are they?
And Kevin...I've heard mixed things about that knock sensor. Lot of people say that it doesn't affect how the engine runs (except on S/C models) but people who fix it claim to get pretty nice gains in mpg.

I saw it on XOC awhile back. It had a bunch of problems so it was sold and a new owner fixed it back up. Looks like it's changed hands again since then.

As long as it can romp on the rocks it's alright with me...

Its on 37" The tires did alright, one of them wore pretty bad the rest did fine. I did trailer it for a while but decided to see how it would do on the road, everything runs great, I could keep a steady pace of 70mph. I calculated my fuel by the mile markers and how much gas i was putting in. After 50 miles i had to put in 10 Gallons, I was shocked! I assumed i was going to get at least 10mpg. The PO did alot of work to it, he wrote a bunch of blogs on everything, what he wrote is all i know about its past. I dont see any mechanical problems. The diffs leak a bit but thats it. 5.13 gears/locked all the time.

Yeah I figured the last guy fixed all the issues. I remember hearing he bought it to fix it up.
Maybe have the codes pulled to see if anything is up. Change a few things out to Synth fluids. Locked all the time could be part of it, huge tires, maybe a little light on the Ring and pinon for 37s. I have the same gearing for 35s and it works the engine a little hard at highway speeds.
Regardless its good to see back in CO again. Cant wait to see it.

I've got 35s with 4.6 gears and didn't think it did too badly on the highway.

I think I felt it more because of the altitude here (10K).
I am sure someone will want to run Carnage before too long.

Welcome to Yesterday JAY!!!! :poke: :moon:
Yea i don't want to sell it but its just to much of a crawler, I thought i could use it as a dd around town buts it tuff...especially parking. I knew it wouldn't be easy to drive but its a lot worse than i thought, its really meant for the rocks not the pavement. It does get ALOT of  . I wont sell it unless someone gives me 15k or a trade for a smaller sas'd X (which if i sell that's what ill get anyways) If it doesn't sell ill just keep it and get a tow rig and trailer. We'll see what happens, I'm in no rush.
