After a long work/woman caused hiatus from wheeling...I just got off the phone with AC and then 4wheelparts in Westminster. Next week the X will be sitting on a 3 inch AC Suspension lift and new BFG 33's. Has anyone in recent history installed the AC 3inch lift? I went with the Front A-Arm kit and rear add-a-leaf since I already have the shackles. How long did it take and what special tools were needed?

The only "special" tool I'd say is a ball joint puller (pickle fork) and a grease gun (though that's not that special) for greasing them up. Possibly a sawzall if your camber bolts are rust welded in there.

Let me know if you want any help. I have all the tools that would be needed, except a sawzall (well I have a cordless but no battery/charger for it yet).

Also you will want to get new U-Bolts if the kit doesn't come with new ones, and a new centering pin for the spring packs most likely.

It's kind of an all day project with both the spring pack work and the UCA's - depending on how much rust your camber bolts have on them they could be a pain to get off so you may want to order a replacement set of camber bolts/washer things and have them on hand - return if not needed. It just depends on how fast you work. I tend to be a bit slower but it ain't a race lol.
