So over the last couple of weeks my steering seems to have gotten really sloppy. I just noticed how bald the inner part of my front tires are. I finally had a second and took it in to Tire World for an alignment. They said they couldn't align it due to "bad bushing in left side upper control arm". He said everything else was tight, but it moved more than 1/2 inch. Since the are aftermarket UCA's, he didn't even know where to get the parts for them.

My questions are twofold:

1: How do I really know that is the problem? I assume left means drivers side and jacked the tire off of the ground and couldn't find anything loose.

2: Do I have AC UCA's? Here are some pics. the sides look slightly different:

Those look like AC UCA's. Jack it up and see if you can move the tire back and forth?

Dunno what they are talkin about then. Maybe bring it to another place and see if they say the same thing?

Isn't it just using a stock bushing? Maybe the Calmini bushings will work?

Doesn't anyone know if AC takes stock bushings?

If stock, does anyone know the best stock ones to buy?

4x4parts.com. They have a whole section for UCA bushings... I'm in the same boat as you, brutha.
