I've seen the pictures of your build and I must say yours is one of a kind. Definately bad-arse!

I guess I would understand it better if All Phase would actually do something to correct the electronics on the swap.
An Off Road X just lost half the doodads and gizmos that made it an OR.
Did they do anything at all to attempt to get the speedo to work?

I'm pretty sure they didn't but From what I understand he wasn't interested in a working speedo. Strange sells the tone ring to go on his 9" rear diff so it wouldn't be that difficult. However Allen I feel like the 8th man came to them with a set plan for what he was gonna do. I doubt Allphase told him to put detroits in a SUV with an Auto tranny.. Either way it's a sweet truck but why would he want a speedo for a vehicle which isn't built for the road anyway. You and I have talked about it in person. I do understand how jordon may be upset that he doesn't have the gizmos he bought the truck with. However what does it matter it's a trail rig not a pavement pounder. They made it very clear to me that my truck would no longer drive like a nissan after my sas. I accepted this and I do not use it as a DD anyway.. I don't even have a speedo. In summary i'd say it would be fair to complain if a person asked for a working speedo and Allphase told them they wouldn't do it....

I'll refrain from responding in the future on All Phase's work.

Please Al i didn't mean to offend, you do have a great point. Allphase makes mistakes, I had to bring my truck back to have stuff redone after I drove it. You are a mechanic and i'm sure you can recognize poor work easier then the rest of us. Your correct about jordons windshield and the speedo problem as well. Your also correct when you say that they (Allphase) are not trying to solve the speedo issue. If they would solve the issue they would have more customers for the 2nd gen sas's. I hear ya Al you are correct no doubt. My point was (as far as I know) that thease two customers didn't ask for the speedo issue to be fixed.

That's a great question. I talked with Dave about that issue with the speedo and the odo. It might be possible to rig something up with the drive shaft. I just got in the door after 15 hours of driving and I can't go into too much detail now. I'll talk with AF tomorrow afternoon after my brain reboots from that brutal drive. I hope to have a solution to that issue soon.

The speedo and odo thing was very low on my list of priorities. Eventually, I'll have to come up with a solution but that's something I can take care of in my home town. I went to All Phase to do a SAS for me because nobody else knew how to do like I wanted. Hopefully, by the end of the week, I'll have some information to share with y'all concerning a solution.

The Odometer thing does need to be covered/resolved. Why because last time Jordan was in they told him they may void his warranty for the millage not increasing any.

I knew before pursuing this build that I was pretty much giving up any expectations of warranty repairs. Nevertheless, I need to get the odo and speedo working before October because that's when my annual inspection is.

Doesn't Allen Cox pretty much have this figured out... When we chatted on superbowl weekend it sounded pretty simple. And by simple, i mean simple for a skilled mechanic. strange sells the magnetic sensor collars. My rear dana 44 is set up with sensors but i don't need or use them. I understand Allens point and I wonder if a guy could press Allphase enough for them to try. I'll admit They are hesitant to dive into new area's where they are inexperianced.

I need to proof read before I post... Kevin is there a way to put an Edit button on this site? Only if it would be easy and not cause too much trouble..
