i'm mounting the lights on the front bumper (KC black 150w pencil)....how do i keep these from disappearing? is there a trick to gettin them harder to remove? i mean...i could weld the nut on and they'd never come off...but i don't want to go to a movie and come out to find them gone.

Locktite - RED

By using the red they will not just come off with hand tools you will need head to remove the nut again.

By head Kev means heat :D

FWIW, my Hella Rallye 4000s run about $180 a light and they've never disappeared and it's sometimes months between times I drive the X.

Wow typo there... yeah you need HEAT... HEAT to remove it.

Not gettin on your knees and sucking the nuts on your bolts. Even that sounds bad.

thanks for the advice...i'll use the red locktite.....i doubt the thief will be receiving much fellatio while trying to steal my lights so i'm golden :) ..i actually have some in the garage....i've just had some buddies that have had some stuff yanked...windows busted out for literally nothing...i just figured something that would unbolt easily might disappear faster.

i hate how they are partially behind the stinger...but i wanted them farther apart and not blocking the headlights. i can always mount them somewhere else...you guys have any idea for a dif loaction? would side by side in the middle of the stinger be ideal?
