What time Friday? I work in Boulder now, so carnage is literally 10 minutes away for me, I could easily get away for a few hours. Hmmm, for carnage I'd better put the bumpers back on my truck, even the nearly destroyed stock chrome would be better than nothing.

Matters what time Dan gets in from New York... I'll be sure to let ya know though.

Still a maybe I had snapped a bolt on the adapter plate to the Tcase (front drive line). Just got back since no one up here carries a grade 8 bolt in the correct size. And need to change out those two heims on the track bar.

I am a no go. I got the drive line fixed and now I have a ticking on the passenger side when the hubs are engaged.

I think I'm gonna have to call it off on Friday too, sad to say. I can't get the brakes working properly on the truck, I think I have air in the master cylinder and I'm gonna have to bench-bleed it then re-bleed the whole system. I don't have the hood back on yet, and now Candy is out of town so I don't even have a helper tonight to put it on. Then there's all the skid plates and sliders to put back on and a dozen other minor things that need doing. Hmm, reactivating the insurance would probably be a good thing too.

All in all, I think I'm still about 3-4 days away from being ready to wheel.

Ian, I might be able to help the next couple days, perhaps tonight too. I'll give you a call later, but call me if you get a chance.

You dont need to remove the master cylinder, your only creating more work and more air in the system. There is probably some air in your primary cup but most of it is probably down in the wheel cylinders. Get a helper and manual bleed the system. I am sure you know how, but if you dont I can tell you how good luck

Went today with Kev riding shotgun. It was fun! Found out how much work the Pathy needs before GoneMoab comes along.

What all was wrong with it, Ryan?

That rear locker is toast! Fix that and install the SYE would be a good starting point.

Umm, well, no. The master cylinder needed bench-bleeding. I did it last night and it restored much sanity. There's still air in the system, but now it's down to needing normal old bleeding at the wheel cylinders.

Remember, I had the master cylinder off the truck for almost 30 days, and it got moved around the workbench many times. It had a ton of air in it, and bench-bleeding is the only way it all comes out.

Unfortunately, a lot of air got into the hardlines during that month as well, even tho I capped the lines at the ABS. The caps weren't tight enough. I hate when a lot of air gets into the hardlines, it forms a bajillion tiny bubbles that cling to the walls of the lines, and it takes repeated bleeding to get it all forced out. Tedious work.
