I just finished swapping from drums to disks on the truck. Pretty easy swap except for the E-brake lines.

Does anyone have any examples or ideas on how to make them work?

Right On! Sidewinders still have that axle for ya? Get the parking brake handle out of a pathy.... make life easy!

Sidewinder had 2 pathy's with disks. They also have another one with drums that will open up for pilaging on the 31st.

I have a King Cab....the pathfinder setup will be way too short...and nuts setup will require changes to work for me.

FYI...It may be an April Fools joke but sidwinder claims they are going to start charging for every item on an Axle starting April 1st. So if you want a $60 complete axle...get it this week.

Awesome... more axles for me!

I just used a coupling to extend the PB cable...

Another pathy on the 31st.. anyone need a Pathy Tank? They are not poking them 'til I say we have enough! Can get them normally for under 30 bucks with pump.

Sounds like Jamie needs to go to the junk yard for body bolts!

I'll need a tank in the future, but it won't be for another 3-4 months or so, at the earliest.

What do they consider all the parts for an axle? Wheel cylinders? Brakes? Springs for the brakes? Cables? And how expensive will the whole unit be?

For my shafts they wanted (for each side)...

$15 shaft
$5 backing plates
$5 brake line
$5 disk
$5 e-brake line
$5 Caliper
________
$40 each side

I asked why I should pay $80 when they would sell the whole axle for $60 and he agreed to sell me my parts for $60, but then gave me the april 1st story.

After april 1st..what does the $60 cover? your guess is as good as mine.

That is normal... the whole axle is less than the parts seperate.

Take a sawsall down and cut her off at the links... much better and faster.
